JPMorgan: Meta's Muse agent could become the top AI application after ChatGPT

PANews, September 24 – Meta's newly launched Muse AI agent drove tech stocks higher this week, and after the company showcased related products at its Connect conference on Wednesday evening, the market turned further attention to its AI strategy. A team of JPMorgan analysts raised Meta's price target from $820 to $920. JPMorgan's bullish stance largely stems from the Muse agent, which the bank believes has the potential to become "the most widely used consumer AI application after ChatGPT."

On Wednesday evening, Meta said the Muse AI agent can now access "connectors" including Walmart, Best Buy, Sephora and Wayfair to interact with those companies' services. However, Amazon currently blocks the agent from accessing its marketplace. JPMorgan analysts said that over time, Meta could generate commercial revenue through this approach, such as through a sales-sharing or commission model.
