Bitcoin Rebounds Amid Easing Geopolitical Tensions

Bitcoin experienced a rebound following comments from former U.S. President Donald Trump, who stated that the United States was engaged in productive discussions with Iran and ruled out military strikes before the upcoming midterm elections. This announcement alleviated some geopolitical concerns, leading to a decline in oil prices, U.S. Treasury yields, and the value of the U.S. dollar, which collectively provided a boost to Bitcoin's price.

The recent price movements in Bitcoin were attributed more to improving risk sentiment rather than specific developments within the cryptocurrency market. Market participants are now closely monitoring Iran's response to U.S. proposals, which could be forthcoming in the next few days. Additionally, the upcoming U.S. Consumer Price Index (CPI) report is anticipated to be a significant factor influencing market dynamics. A favorable CPI report could further support Bitcoin's recovery, while disappointing data might lead to a reassessment of Federal Reserve interest rate hike expectations, potentially weighing on Bitcoin's price.

Technically, Bitcoin had previously broken below a major upward trendline and a key support level at 82,500. Following Trump's remarks, the price has retraced to test this level as resistance. Analysts suggest that sellers may emerge around this resistance, while buyers are looking for a breakout above it to target higher levels, potentially reaching 90,000. The market remains cautious, with key support identified around the 76,000 level.
