Circle Internet Group Co-Founder Resigns, CFO to Depart by Year-End

Circle Internet Group, a prominent stablecoin issuer based in the United States, announced the resignation of co-founder P. Sean Neville from its board of directors, effective immediately. This change was disclosed in an 8-K filing submitted on September 25, 2026, which also noted that the board's size has now decreased from eight to seven members.

On the same day, Chief Financial Officer Jeremy Fox-Geen informed the company of his intention to resign, with plans to remain in his role until the end of 2026 to facilitate a smooth transition. Circle has initiated the process of finding successors by engaging an executive search firm. The company clarified that the resignations of Neville and Fox-Geen were not related to any disagreements concerning its operations or policies.
