MAX Exchange in Taiwan Launches Native Tether USDT Support for Local Traders
MAX Digital Asset Exchange, operated by the MaiCoin Group, has introduced support for native Tether USDT on the Aptos blockchain, enhancing the trading experience for local users. This feature, which went live on September 29, allows traders in Taiwan to deposit New Taiwan Dollars (TWD) and convert them directly into USDT without the need for bridged tokens or cross-chain intermediaries.
The integration facilitates both deposits and withdrawals of USDT natively on Aptos, providing a seamless on-ramp and off-ramp for users. New trading pairs, including HYPE, GRAM, APT, and RENDER, are set to launch on September 30 at 15:00 GMT+8, further expanding the trading options available on the platform.
Taiwan's crypto market has unique characteristics, as TWD-denominated trading pairs are less common on global exchanges compared to major currencies like the US Dollar. MAX aims to address this gap by offering a compliance-focused platform amidst evolving regulatory frameworks in the region. Users are advised to ensure they select the correct Aptos network when making deposits to avoid potential asset loss.
