Circle has announced its decision to discontinue support for the USDC stablecoin and the Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) Version 1 on the Noble blockchain. The cessation of new minting of USDC on Noble will take effect on October 13, 2026. Users will still be able to redeem their USDC until January 12, 2027, after which all contracts related to USDC and CCTP routing on Noble will be fully suspended.

Circle is advising users to transfer their USDC holdings from the Noble blockchain to other supported networks before the impending deadline. A snapshot of the remaining balances will be taken at the time of suspension, and a manual redemption process will commence on January 13, 2027, for any remaining USDC on the Noble blockchain. This move marks a significant shift in Circle's operations concerning the Noble blockchain and its associated services.
