Bank of America Increases U.S. 10-Year Treasury Yield Forecast to 5%

Bank of America has revised its year-end forecast for the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield, increasing it from 4.5% to 5.0%. This adjustment is attributed to concerns regarding fiscal policies and broader market risks that could impact economic stability.

In addition to the 10-year yield, Bank of America has also raised its forecast for the 2-year Treasury yield to 5.0%. The bank has identified several factors contributing to these changes, including geopolitical risks from Iran, ongoing fiscal pressures, trade tensions, and uncertainties surrounding artificial intelligence.

Furthermore, Bank of America has updated its forecast for Brent crude oil prices in the second half of the year, projecting them to reach $95 per barrel. These forecasts reflect the bank's assessment of the current economic landscape and potential challenges ahead.
