Bitcoin Experiences Volatility Amid US-Iran Negotiation Hopes

Bitcoin has shown limited movement recently, remaining mostly rangebound as uncertainty surrounds ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran. An initial upward spike was observed following reports from Al-Arabiya that Qatar and Pakistan had proposed a compromise that could facilitate an agreement. However, this momentum diminished after a diplomat involved in the discussions indicated that a deal was not imminent.

Despite the setback, market participants maintain some optimism for a breakthrough, particularly with the US midterm elections approaching. A successful agreement could alleviate inflation and interest rate concerns, potentially boosting risk sentiment and providing short-term support for Bitcoin. Upcoming economic indicators, such as the US Flash Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) reports, may also influence market dynamics. A stronger-than-expected PMI could lead to a temporary rally, while a weaker report might heighten growth concerns and exert additional pressure on the cryptocurrency.

Technical analysis indicates that Bitcoin has recently bounced back from a key support level of 80,000. If it retraces to this support again, buyers are expected to step in, aiming for a rally towards the 98,000 mark. Conversely, sellers are poised to act if the price breaks below this support, targeting a decline to 75,000. Resistance is noted around the 84,000 level, where sellers may also emerge, complicating the outlook for further gains.
