Eurozone Services and Manufacturing PMIs Exceed Expectations in September

The Eurozone's flash services Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for September has been reported at 53.0, surpassing the anticipated figure of 51.5 and slightly down from the previous month's reading of 51.6. This indicates continued expansion in the services sector, which is a key component of the Eurozone economy.

In addition, the flash manufacturing PMI for September stands at 52.7, which is above the expected 52.6 and matches the prior month's figure. The composite PMI, which combines both services and manufacturing sectors, is reported at 53.1, exceeding expectations of 51.7 and up from 52.0 in August. These figures suggest a positive outlook for economic activity in the Eurozone as it continues to recover from previous downturns.
