General Motors Reports Strong Q3 Earnings, Exceeds Revenue and EPS Expectations

General Motors (GM) has announced its third-quarter earnings for 2026, reporting a revenue of $50.02 billion, surpassing analysts' expectations of $48.70 billion. The company's adjusted earnings per share (EPS) also exceeded forecasts, coming in at $3.70 compared to the anticipated $3.63.

Despite the positive revenue and EPS results, GM's adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) fell short of expectations, reporting $4.11 billion against the forecasted $4.25 billion. Looking ahead, GM has provided guidance for the full fiscal year 2026, projecting an adjusted EPS between $12.75 and $13.75, slightly above the expected $13.40, and an adjusted EBIT range of $14.5 billion to $15.5 billion, compared to the anticipated $14.78 billion.
