Iran Links Strait of Hormuz Reopening to U.S. Compliance with Conditions

Iran's security chief has stated that the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz is contingent upon the United States meeting seven specific conditions set by Tehran. He emphasized that negotiations will not resume unless Washington complies with these demands.

The security chief warned that if the U.S. fails to meet these conditions, the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed. He further noted that the U.S. must work to regain the trust of the Iranian people before any progress can be made in discussions.

The Strait of Hormuz is a critical waterway for global oil shipments, and its closure could have significant implications for international energy markets.
