Nvidia Experiences Significant Price Drop After Recent Highs

Nvidia Corporation, a leading American technology company, has seen its stock price decline sharply after reaching an all-time high of $243.37 last Tuesday. Over the past week, the stock has closed lower on six out of seven trading days, culminating in a low of $212.85 today, marking a 12.54% drop from its peak. This downturn has brought the stock price to a critical technical support area, prompting a response from buyers.

The decline accelerated after Nvidia fell below a swing area defined by previous highs between $230.32 and $236.54, which shifted the dynamics in favor of sellers. Today's trading gap introduced two significant technical levels: the 100-day moving average at $214.47 and a 38.2% retracement level of the 2026 trading range at $213.15. Although the stock briefly dipped below these levels, it rebounded to around $217, indicating potential for recovery.

Traders are now closely monitoring whether Nvidia can maintain its position above the 100-day moving average, as holding this level is crucial for sustaining the recovery attempt. The stock's performance in the coming days will be pivotal, with resistance levels at approximately $222, $226.14, and $230.63 serving as benchmarks for buyers to regain control. The current market situation highlights the delicate balance between support and resistance as Nvidia navigates this volatile trading environment.
