Plus500, a global multi-asset fintech group known for its proprietary trading platforms, has announced a conditional agreement to acquire Hedge Capital Markets Inc. and its subsidiaries. This acquisition includes a US broker-dealer that is registered with the US Securities and Exchange Commission and is a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
The deal marks a significant expansion for Plus500, enhancing its presence in the US market. The acquisition is expected to bolster Plus500's offerings and capabilities in the financial services sector, although specific financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
