U.S. and China to Reduce Tariffs on $30 Billion in Goods

The United States plans to lower tariffs on approximately $30 billion worth of imports from China, which include toys, appliances, and baby goods. This decision marks a significant shift in trade policy between the two nations, aiming to ease economic tensions and promote trade relations.

In a reciprocal move, China will also reduce tariffs on $30 billion of U.S. products, which encompass agricultural goods, coal, and medical devices. This bilateral agreement is expected to benefit both economies by facilitating smoother trade flows and potentially lowering prices for consumers in both countries.
