Analysts Report Slowed Growth for Anthropic Amid Rising Competition

Citrini analyst Jukan has raised concerns regarding the growth trajectory of Anthropic, a prominent artificial intelligence company. As of September 24, 2026, Anthropic's annual recurring revenue (ARR) stands at approximately $76.8 billion, reflecting a modest quarter-over-quarter increase of only 1.8%.

In contrast, OpenAI, another key player in the AI sector, reported an ARR of approximately $50.44 billion, with a more robust quarter-over-quarter growth rate of 13.4%. Jukan noted that while both companies are experiencing a slowdown in growth, Anthropic's decline appears more pronounced.

The analyst also expressed skepticism about the reliability of the data provided by TickerTrends, which was the source of these figures. This situation highlights the competitive pressures in the AI industry, as companies strive to maintain growth in a rapidly evolving market.
