Bitbase Chief Business Officer: The digital economy isn't short on users — it's short on places to spend
PANews reported on October 8 that Nicholas Lo, Chief Business Officer of Bitbase, joined representatives from institutions such as Tether and Galaxy Digital at the HSC Asset Management Singapore "Digital Economy Infrastructure" roundtable discussion. He said that "earning" has moved on-chain, but "spending" has yet to catch up: surveys show that 39% of crypto users and potential users already earn stablecoin income, yet only 27% of stablecoin holders use them for everyday payments. He believes whoever fills the spending gap will be the one to retain capital.
