Bitcoin Asia to Return to Hong Kong in 2027

• Bitcoin Asia announced the date of the conference in Hong Kong in 2027.
• This event will be the fourth.
• It comes amid the development of crypto regulation.

BTC Inc, a subsidiary of Nakamoto Inc and the organizer of the Bitcoin Asia conference, announced that the next Bitcoin Asia conference will take place in Hong Kong on August 27–28, 2027. 

The event will mark the fourth consecutive year the conference is held in the city, where it has taken place annually since its launch in 2024.

Fourth Year of Bitcoin Asia in Hong Kong

Organizers linked the choice of Hong Kong to its status as Asia’s financial hub and the development of local cryptocurrency regulation. In particular, in 2024, the region’s authorities approved the launch of spot bitcoin ETFs and passed stablecoin legislation.

“Hong Kong has become the anchor point for Bitcoin in Asia, and this will be our fourth year building on that. Every edition of Bitcoin Asia has grown the conversation here, and 2027 is us doubling down on a city that’s proven it’s serious about this industry,” said BTC Inc CEO Brandon Green.

The first Bitcoin Asia took place in Hong Kong in May 2024 and was sold out. In 2025, the conference moved to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, where Eric Trump was among the keynote speakers.

In 2026, the event returned to the same venue on August 27–28. Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao joined the speaker lineup, and the program covered bitcoin policy, finance, infrastructure, and business development.

Organizers also opened ticket sales at an early-bird price for Bitcoin Asia 2027.
