Bitcoin Remains Steady Above $81,000 Amid Significant Rise in Producer Prices
Bitcoin has maintained its position above $81,000, experiencing a slight increase of less than half a percent during the initial hours of trading in the United States. This stability comes as wholesale prices in the United States saw a notable rise of 1.3% in September, marking the largest jump since 2022. Energy prices were a significant contributor to this increase, accounting for over 80% of the rise in wholesale costs.
Despite the fluctuations in the broader market, none of the five largest cryptocurrencies experienced movements exceeding 1% in either direction during the same trading period. This indicates a period of relative stability in the cryptocurrency market, even as traditional economic indicators show significant changes.
