Harbor AI Secures $10 Million in Seed Funding to Innovate Insurance for AI Agents

Harbor AI, an insurance startup focused on the emerging agent economy, has announced the completion of a $10 million seed funding round as it exits stealth mode. The financing was led by Base10 Partners, AbstractVC, and 8vc, with additional participation from RestiveVC, NFX, iEndeavors, Kibo Ventures, DidacLee, MVP Ventures, and others.

Co-founded by Elechi, Cristian, Luis, and another partner, Harbor AI aims to address the evolving landscape of risk as artificial intelligence agents increasingly take over tasks traditionally performed by humans. The company seeks to create a new category of insurance that makes the risks associated with machine behavior measurable, manageable, and insurable. This innovative approach reflects a significant shift in how insurance is conceptualized in relation to AI technology.
