FOMO Becomes Leading Revenue-Generating Trading App, Surpassing Axiom Exchange

FOMO has emerged as the highest revenue-generating trading application across all blockchain networks over the past 30 days, surpassing Axiom Exchange, which previously dominated the Solana trading terminal market. Data from DeFiLlama indicates that FOMO generated approximately $19.88 million in revenue during this period, driven by fees totaling around $20.99 million.

Since early August 2026, FOMO has gained significant traction, capturing about 46% of daily trading volume on the Solana platform, while Axiom's share has dropped to below 30%. The competitive edge for FOMO appears to stem from its lower fee structure, charging around 0.5% compared to Axiom's 1%, which is particularly advantageous for high-frequency traders.

FOMO's user base has seen remarkable growth, expanding from about 625,000 users in mid-2026 to approximately 2.7 million by October 2026. Despite this growth, FOMO's weekly revenue has declined from a peak of over $9 million during the summer of 2026, raising questions about the sustainability of its revenue as user growth does not necessarily correlate with revenue increases. The trading app landscape on Solana is evolving, with pricing strategies and user retention becoming critical factors in maintaining market share.
