US SEC Chair: Financial system is moving toward the crypto era, hopes to put the stock market on-chain
PANews reported on September 30 that US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chair Paul Atkins said in a live CNBC interview that he hopes to push the stock market to operate on-chain, and said the entire financial system is moving toward Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. The SEC previously launched an "innovation exemption" allowing eligible trading venues to conduct on-chain trading of tokenized US stocks.
