PANews reported on October 2, citing The Block, that the US Treasury has designated the network behind the ruble-backed A7A5 token as a significant transnational criminal organization. The Treasury said A7A5 was created to evade sanctions and conduct international transactions, and linked the A7 network to Iran's Nobitex exchange and North Korea's hacks of crypto exchanges.
