Apple to Launch First Foldable iPhone Priced Over $2,000

Apple is set to unveil its first foldable iPhone on Wednesday, marking a significant milestone for the company under the leadership of new CEO John Ternus. This launch is anticipated to introduce a device that could be priced at over $2,000, making it the most expensive iPhone to date.

Industry analysts from IDC project that Apple will capture 40% of the foldable smartphone market by the end of 2027. This strategic move highlights Apple's commitment to innovation in the competitive smartphone landscape.

In addition to the foldable iPhone, Apple is expected to postpone updates for its more affordable iPhone models until spring, concentrating its efforts on the launch of the foldable, as well as the Pro and Pro Max versions.
