RBI Rejects Tata Sons Plea to Nix Shadow Lender Tag, Reports Say
India’s central bank has rejected an application from Tata Sons Pvt. to surrender its status as a shadow lender and asked the company to comply with rules for such entities that includes an initial public offering, according to multiple local media reports.
