The executive directly offloaded 200,000 Class A shares at a weighted average of $95.72 per share, trimming his direct stake by 10.66% to 1,676,815 shares. An additional block of 107,692 shares was sold indirectly via Omnadora Capital LLC, an entity where Intrator serves as sole manager.
The indirect shares underwent conversion from Class B to Class A stock prior to sale. Following the transaction, Omnadora Capital’s Class A holdings were eliminated, while maintaining 22,695,432 Class B shares.
Shares of CRWV currently sit at $89.76, marking approximately a 15% retreat from last week’s levels. The stock has fluctuated between $60.55 and $153.20 over the past 52 weeks.
The divestment followed closely on the heels of CoreWeave’s robust Q2 performance announced on August 11. Quarterly revenue hit $2.58 billion, representing a 112.5% year-over-year expansion. The firm recorded a per-share loss of $1.14, though this outperformed analyst expectations of a $1.52 loss by $0.38.
Notwithstanding impressive top-line growth, CoreWeave continues to operate at a loss. The company maintains a negative net margin of 25.41% alongside a negative return on equity of 47.95%.
Its debt-to-equity ratio registers at 5.53, underscoring the substantial capital investments necessary for constructing and maintaining AI-focused cloud infrastructure.
Wall Street’s Response
In the wake of the stronger-than-expected quarterly results, multiple analysts adjusted their price targets upward. Citigroup increased its objective from $142 to $159 while reaffirming a “Buy” recommendation. Robert W. Baird upgraded from $100 to $130 with an “Outperform” designation. Roth Capital established a $145 target.
Barclays moved its target from $90 to $105 but retained an “Equal Weight” stance. Needham maintained its “Hold” position. Across 35 analysts, the prevailing sentiment is “Moderate Buy” with a mean price target of $141.10.
Truist elevated its target to $155, highlighting the addition of nearly 500 megawatts of infrastructure capacity during the quarter. Piper Sandler raised its objective to $153, emphasizing robust AI-driven demand and enhanced Q3 booking activity.
Institutional Investment Trends
Large institutional players have demonstrated notable activity. Vanguard Group expanded its holdings by 275.6%, now controlling over 27.9 million shares valued at approximately $2 billion. Legal & General Group dramatically increased its position by 8,455%, acquiring over 604,000 additional shares.
Mirae Asset boosted its stake by 67.2%, while Broad Peak Investment Advisers initiated a fresh position valued at $15.5 million.
Sell-side analysts forecast a full-year EPS loss of $5.37 for CoreWeave in the ongoing fiscal year. The company’s 50-day moving average stands at $90.25, marginally above current trading levels.
