FIS Launches AML Investigations Agent for U.S. Banks
FIS, a global financial technology company based in the United States, has announced the commercial availability of its AML Investigations Agent. This product, developed in collaboration with Anthropic, was initially introduced in May 2026 and is now accessible to all banks operating in the U.S., regardless of whether they are existing clients of FIS.
The AML Investigations Agent is designed to enhance anti-money laundering efforts by providing advanced investigative capabilities. This launch aims to support U.S. banks in their compliance and risk management processes, addressing the growing need for effective solutions in the financial sector.
By making this technology available to a broader range of banks, FIS seeks to strengthen the overall integrity of the financial system in the United States, ensuring that institutions have the tools necessary to combat financial crimes.
