      Italy Plans Bond Sales Totaling Up to EUR 7.25 Billion

      The Italian government has announced plans to sell bonds totaling up to EUR 7.25 billion in upcoming auctions. On September 10, the country will offer up to EUR 750 million in 2.15% bonds maturing in 2072.

      In addition to the long-term bonds, Italy will also sell up to EUR 3.5 billion in 3% bonds maturing in 2029 and up to EUR 3.5 billion in 3.35% bonds maturing in 2033. These bond sales are part of Italy's strategy to manage its public debt and finance government expenditures.
