Quant (QNT) Skyrockets 350% Following Landmark Partnership with The Clearing House

- Futures open interest for QNT reached an all-time peak of $158.80 million as market participants increased leveraged exposure.
- Chart analysis reveals a “Golden Cross” formation, with QNT hovering near its highest level in four years above $250.
- Crypto analyst Ted Pillows highlights QNT’s integration with Murex MX.3 banking software and its role in the European Central Bank’s Digital Euro pilot program.
Quant (QNT) has emerged as one of the cryptocurrency market’s standout performers this week. The digital asset soared nearly 350% following confirmation of a strategic collaboration with The Clearing House, one of America’s most significant payments infrastructure providers.

As of Monday, QNT was changing hands around $254, experiencing a modest pullback following the previous week’s explosive rally. The digital asset had rocketed from approximately $65 to reach a peak near $373 within a span of just seven days.
The dramatic price movement began after The Clearing House revealed on September 24 that it had selected Quant to provide infrastructure for its On-Chain Money Initiative. Quant’s technology will facilitate interoperability and manage transactions across the network.
The infrastructure is designed to enable financial institutions to clear and settle tokenized deposits. It will also integrate with current payment systems including RTP and CHIPS. The platform is projected to become operational for banking partners during the first half of 2027.
The Clearing House handles massive daily transaction volumes. Its platforms process over $2 trillion each day, with CHIPS alone averaging approximately $2.014 trillion in daily volume during 2025. While Quant isn’t directly processing these funds, its technology will be embedded within this critical financial infrastructure.
Market Activity Intensifies
Investor enthusiasm for QNT escalated rapidly alongside the price appreciation. Open interest in QNT futures climbed to an unprecedented $158.80 million, indicating heightened trader activity using leveraged positions.
Simultaneously, the funding rate shifted into negative territory, falling to -0.0136%. This metric suggests some market participants are now positioning for a potential price correction following the rapid ascent.
Cryptocurrency analyst Ted Pillows provided additional insights into the rally through a post on X. He noted that QNT is now integrated into Murex MX.3, a software platform utilized by 65 of the globe’s 100 largest banking institutions. He also highlighted that the European Central Bank selected Quant as a participant in Digital Euro testing. Pillows further observed that QNT’s price chart has escaped a five-year downward trend, suggesting sustained momentum could drive prices to double from present levels.
Technical Analysis Perspective
QNT is currently positioned significantly above its 50-, 100-, and 200-week moving averages, which range between $87 and $102. This configuration provides the token with substantial support levels beneath its present trading range.
The 50-week moving average has recently moved above the 200-week average. This technical formation, referred to as a Golden Cross, frequently signals the beginning of a sustained upward trend.
The Relative Strength Index registers at 80 on the weekly timeframe, indicating the asset has entered deeply overbought conditions. The MACD indicator similarly displays a continuing uptrend with expanding bullish momentum.
Key support zones are identified near $255, $228, and $171.70, derived from recent Fibonacci retracement calculations. A breakout above the previous week’s peak of $373 could pave the way toward the token’s record high of $430, established in September 2021.
This American partnership builds upon Quant’s previous initiatives in the United Kingdom, where it was chosen alongside major banks including Barclays, HSBC, and Lloyds for a tokenized sterling deposits initiative. That earlier collaboration established the foundation for its expansion into United States banking infrastructure.
