ArbitrumDAO Reports $6.19 Million Income for First Half of 2026

ArbitrumDAO generated an income of $6.19 million in the first half of 2026, according to the Arbitrum Foundation's Bi-Annual Progress Update. The income was derived from various sources, including transaction fees from Arbitrum One, Timeboost, license fees from the Arbitrum Expansion Program, and treasury income. The gross margin on protocol revenue exceeded 97%, an increase from over 90% for the entirety of 2025.

A significant portion of this income is attributed to Robinhood, which operates a chain that settles transactions to Ethereum rather than Arbitrum One. Under the Arbitrum Expansion Program, Robinhood Chain contributed approximately $360,000 in license fees in July, accounting for 35% of ArbitrumDAO's income for that month. In contrast, Arbitrum One processed only $14,746 in fees during the same period, highlighting the disparity in activity between the two chains.

During the first half of 2026, Arbitrum processed 478 million transactions, bringing its lifetime total to 2.7 billion. The economic activity on the network, referred to as ecosystem GDP, reached $206 million for the period, with a cumulative total of $1.7 billion since its launch. Arbitrum also ranked first in the number of tokenized real-world asset deployments, with over 2,000 assets, although it trails Ethereum significantly in terms of distributed value. As of mid-August, 92.3% of the total ARB supply was unlocked or held in the ArbitrumDAO treasury.
