Bitget Wallet Introduces Tokenized U.S. Stocks from Reality

Bitget Wallet has launched tokenized U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) issued by Reality, effective September 15, 2026. This addition marks the third tokenized-equity issuer in the wallet, which already features offerings from Ondo and xStocks. The new tokens, referred to as rTokens, will be available on the Arbitrum and Morph platforms, expanding the wallet's user base to over 100 million, potentially providing one of the largest retail distribution channels for tokenized equities.

The integration introduces more than 1,700 tokenized stocks and ETFs, with Reality's catalog including over 600 U.S. stocks and ETFs that represent 95% of U.S. market trading volume. Each rToken is backed one-to-one by U.S. shares held at Alpaca Securities, a registered broker-dealer in the United States. During U.S. market hours, orders are routed to major exchanges such as Nasdaq and NYSE, ensuring real liquidity and dividends for users who maintain control of their private keys.

Alvin Kan, the chief operating officer of Bitget Wallet, emphasized that many users globally have lacked access to U.S. equity exposure due to infrastructure challenges. The rTokens are designed to address this issue by providing real shares and liquidity while allowing users to retain custody of their assets. Eligible dividends from rTokens are distributed in stablecoins after a 30% tax deduction, with corporate actions like stock splits automatically reflected in users' holdings.
