Fomo Overtakes Pump.fun in Weekly Revenue on Solana Blockchain
Fomo, a social trading application based on the Solana blockchain, has surpassed Pump.fun in seven-day protocol revenue, marking a significant development in the competitive landscape of decentralized finance. According to data from DeFiLlama, Fomo generated $1.76 million in daily revenue on September 4, compared to Pump.fun's $1.1 million, indicating a 60% lead for Fomo on that day. This shift is notable as Pump.fun has dominated the revenue rankings for nearly two years.
Despite this recent achievement, Pump.fun maintains a substantial advantage over a longer timeframe, with approximately $57 million in revenue over the past 30 days, compared to Fomo's $17.6 million. Fomo's rapid ascent is evident; just two months prior, it ranked third among Solana protocols, earning $1.39 million for the week ending July 16, while Pump.fun earned $5.51 million during the same period.
Fomo, which launched in May 2025, has quickly gained traction, raising $94 million in funding, including a $75 million Series B round completed in June 2026 that valued the company at $550 million. The platform has attracted over 625,000 users and processed billions in trading volume, with a notable $25 million coming from first-time buyers using Apple Pay. The app's user-friendly features, such as real-time trade feeds and a streamlined copy trading process, differentiate it from Pump.fun, which focuses on facilitating the launch and trading of memecoins.
