MoonPay Appoints Anne Giviskos as Chief Financial Officer
MoonPay has appointed Anne Giviskos as its new chief financial officer, effective October 13, 2026. Giviskos, who previously served as interim CFO and chief accounting officer at Navan, brings over two decades of finance experience to the role, including a decade at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Euronext, where she was the chief risk and compliance officer until 2023.
The appointment comes as MoonPay intensifies its efforts in regulated markets, having made several acquisitions and launched new products throughout 2026. CEO Ivan Soto-Wright highlighted Giviskos's expertise in managing regulated businesses and her experience with mergers and acquisitions as critical for the company's growth strategy. Recently, MoonPay announced its acquisition of North Capital, aimed at enhancing access to onchain capital markets, and also acquired DFlow, a trading platform that has processed $45 billion in trading volume this year.
Giviskos's background in compliance aligns with MoonPay's focus on stablecoin initiatives, which are increasingly viewed as part of the payment infrastructure rather than speculative assets. This strategic hire may bolster investor confidence in MoonPay's stability and growth potential as it navigates the complexities of integrating new acquisitions and developing regulated financial products. Key developments to watch include the closing of the North Capital deal and the performance of DFlow within MoonPay's operations.
