Robinhood Chain Achieves $2.66 Million in Daily Revenue, Surpassing Ethereum
Robinhood Chain, an Arbitrum-based Layer 2 platform, reported $2.66 million in app revenue within a 24-hour period on August 30, 2026. This figure positions Robinhood Chain second only to Solana among decentralized finance platforms, outpacing both Hyperliquid L1, which generated $1.7 million, and Ethereum, which earned approximately $1.27 to $1.28 million during the same timeframe.
The revenue surge is largely attributed to three applications that collectively accounted for about 88% of the daily earnings. GMGN led with $1.11 million, followed by Pons at $930,587, and Uniswap at $306,877. Both GMGN and Pons focus on memecoin trading, indicating that speculative trading activities are currently driving the platform's revenue, while real-world asset engagement remains in its nascent stages.
Since its public mainnet launch on July 1, 2026, Robinhood Chain has recorded over $3 billion in decentralized exchange (DEX) volume and has seen a rapid influx of bridged assets. The platform retains approximately 89% of the fees generated, with about 10% allocated to the Arbitrum ecosystem and less than 2% to Ethereum for settlement and data availability. This revenue model raises questions about Ethereum's economic structure, especially as Robinhood Chain demonstrates a capacity to capture a larger share of value within its ecosystem.
