Two US ETF Applications for Injective Token Progress with SEC Amendments

Two exchange-traded fund (ETF) applications linked to the Injective (INJ) token have advanced following recent amendments submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The applications include the 21Shares Injective ETF and the Canary Staked INJ ETF, both of which are designed to capitalize on the growing interest in digital assets.

On September 18, 2026, 21Shares filed an amendment to its initial registration statement for its spot Injective ETF, which is expected to trade on Nasdaq under the ticker TINJ. This amendment elaborates on the fund's strategy for holding INJ directly and provides the issuer with discretion regarding the staking of tokens. Meanwhile, Canary Capital submitted its own amendment for the staked INJ ETF, which aims to list on Cboe BZX under the ticker INJS, with a commitment to stake at least 90% of its holdings.

The filings also identify BitGo as the custodian for INJ, alongside traditional banking partners such as BNY Mellon and US Bank. The operational complexity of staking, which includes validator selection and custody arrangements, is a significant aspect of the Canary fund's structure, while 21Shares maintains flexibility in its staking approach to adapt to changing market conditions.
