XRP to $1,000? Popular Crypto Journalist Weighs In as the Boldest Price Target Makes a Comeback

The $1,000 XRP dream is back in the spotlight, reigniting one of the crypto market’s most ambitious price narratives. As the bold XRP projection once again circulates across social media, Crypto in America host Eleanor Terrett has weighed in, adding fresh fuel to the debate over whether the payments-focused token could eventually reach four figures.

The $1,000 XRP Call Is Back

In a recent post, Terrett said discussions surrounding the stalled CLARITY Act had taken over her X feed, alongside a growing stream of bullish posts touting the possibility of XRP eventually reaching $1,000.

Notably, talk of a potential $1,000 XRP price has resurfaced after EasyA co-founder Dom Kwok made remarks that once again drew attention to the ambitious target. “$1,000 is more likely than ever,” Kwok wrote.

While Kwok’s latest post stopped short of naming XRP directly, his previous comments provide important context. In April, he publicly discussed the possibility of XRP reaching the four-figure mark within a defined timeframe, making his latest remarks enough to reignite speculation across the XRP community.

The discussion also caught the attention of Jake Claver, Chairman of Digital Ascension Group. Responding to Kwok, Claver said he would keep an eye on the prediction, pointing to Kwok’s professional credentials and industry experience.

Kwok’s background has also become a major part of the conversation. Some XRP proponents have cited his reported stints at Goldman Sachs and Circle, along with his role as co-founder of EasyA, to explain why they believe his views deserve closer attention.

What Would XRP at $1,000 Actually Mean? 

XRP was trading at approximately $1.60 at press time, according to CoinGecko, giving the token a market capitalization of about $100.7 billion based on a circulating supply of roughly 63 billion XRP.

From its current level, XRP would need to surge approximately 62,400% to reach $1,000. At that price, assuming the circulating supply remains around 63 billion tokens, XRP’s implied market capitalization would approach $63 trillion, underscoring the extraordinary scale of the valuation behind the four-figure price thesis. The eye-watering valuation highlights just how dramatic XRP’s market growth would need to be for the $1,000 target to become reality.

The four-figure projection has also drawn pushback from parts of the XRP community. Crypto analyst ChartNerd characterized the $1,000 target as hype and cautioned traders against placing too much weight on aggressive XRP forecasts.

Meanwhile, XRP Ledger dUNL validator Vet also shifted the focus away from eye-catching price targets. Rather than fixating on where XRP could trade, he urged investors to watch what is happening on the network itself, particularly XRPL’s expanding adoption within traditional finance. From that perspective, real-world growth could prove more telling than any speculative four-figure forecast.
