As of the end of September 2026, OpenAI's annualized revenue was approximately $50 billion, reflecting significant growth in its operations and market presence.
The company is currently engaged in funding talks that involve a valuation of around $1.4 trillion. This financing round is reportedly being anchored by funds from the United Arab Emirates, including the investment firm MGX. The discussions are part of a broader strategy to secure over $30 billion in funding.
There has been some confusion regarding revenue figures, attributed to discrepancies in accounting methods used by investors, particularly in relation to revenue accounting practices from the company Anthropic. OpenAI's projections and ongoing negotiations highlight its ambitious growth trajectory in the rapidly evolving artificial intelligence sector.
