Spotify Renews Joe Rogan Podcast Deal for Estimated $250 Million
Spotify has renewed its partnership with Joe Rogan in a multiyear agreement valued at an estimated $250 million. The terms of the new deal are reported to be similar to those of his previous contract, which has made Rogan's podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, the most-listened-to podcast in the United States.
In the second quarter of 2026, the podcast reached 28.4 million listeners in the U.S., a significant increase from 6.6 million listeners in early 2020. This growth underscores the podcast's popularity and Rogan's influence in the media landscape.
Under the renewed agreement, Spotify retains licensing and advertising rights, while Rogan continues to maintain editorial control over the content of his show. This arrangement allows Spotify to leverage Rogan's extensive audience while providing him with the creative freedom to produce his content.
