USDJPY Establishes Key Trading Levels for Upcoming Week

The USDJPY currency pair has established significant technical boundaries as it heads into the next trading week. The pair's low for the day was recorded at 158.35, just above the 200-day moving average, currently positioned at 158.313. Following this low, buyers entered the market, pushing the pair back towards its earlier highs.

Currently, the upper boundary is defined by the 100-hour moving average at 159.04 and the 200-hour moving average at 159.154. If the USDJPY remains below these moving averages, this area will serve as a critical resistance point. Conversely, a breakout above these levels would suggest a stronger buying momentum.

On the downside, a breach of the 200-day moving average at 158.313 could lead traders to target the swing area near 157.979, with further declines potentially reaching the 157.25 mark. On the upside, if the price surpasses the 200-hour moving average at 159.154, the next targets would be the 50% retracement level at 159.60 and the significant round number at 160.00, which also coincides with the 100-day moving average.
