Argo Blockchain CEO Resigns, Company Shifts Focus to AI Infrastructure
Justin Nolan has resigned as CEO of Argo Blockchain, effective August 30. As part of his departure agreement, Nolan will receive a one-time cash compensation of $250,000, subject to standard tax withholding. The agreement will take effect after a seven-day period, during which the right of rescission can be exercised.
In the interim, the current management team will oversee daily operations while the board searches for a successor. The company is looking for candidates with expertise in capital raising and operational execution, particularly in the data center and artificial intelligence technology sectors. This shift in leadership comes as Argo Blockchain plans to pivot its business strategy towards artificial intelligence infrastructure.
