Binance Research: Onchain RWA Assets Reach $34.18B, Up 85.2% YTDBinance Research’s “The RWA Activation Era” report shows that onchain real-world assets reached $34.18 billion as of September 15, 2026, up 85.2% year to date. Bonds and money market funds led with $18.29 billion, while tokenized equities grew 390.4% YTD; together, the two categories accounted for more than three-quarters of new market value. Binance Research estimates that only about 0.01% of underlying assets have been tokenized, while roughly 12% of onchain RWA value is actively deployed across liquidity pools, lending, and collateral markets. The report argues that the next phase of RWA growth will depend not only on bringing more assets onchain, but also on making them usable across DeFi.
