Bybit to Introduce Super App for European Market

Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit is set to launch a new super app in Europe that will integrate traditional banking services with stock and cryptocurrency trading. The Dubai-based company, which claims to have over 80 million users globally, has received an electronic money institution license from European regulators, facilitating this expansion.

In addition to the electronic money license, Bybit holds a Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) license in Austria, which will support its operations in the European market. The super app aims to combine features typically offered by financial technology firms and online brokerages, providing users with access to traditional bank accounts, derivatives, tokenized stocks, and digital assets like Bitcoin.

To enhance its offerings, Bybit has partnered with rival exchange Kraken’s xStocks for the provision of tokenized equities. While the launch date for the super app has yet to be announced, Bybit is positioning itself to cater to the growing demand for integrated financial services in Europe.
