Crypto ETF Flows: Bitcoin, Ether and Solana Funds Add $308M…

U.S. crypto exchange-traded funds ended Friday, September 25, with another broadly positive session, recording approximately $308.2 million in combined net inflows across spot Bitcoin, Ether and Solana products, according to finalized Farside Investors data.Bitcoin funds remained the largest contributor with $134.5 million, extending their run of positive sessions, although inflows continued to moderate after exceptionally strong demand earlier in the week.Ether ETFs recorded $87 million, accelerating from Thursday's $66.1 million. Solana funds attracted $86.7 million, more than doubling Thursday's $32.8 million and setting the highest single-day net inflow recorded in Farside's Solana ETF dataset. The figures capped a strong week for institutional crypto products even as Bitcoin traded around $84,000, below the eight-month high above $87,000 reached earlier in the week.

BlackRock and Fidelity Drive Bitcoin and Ether Demand

BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust, IBIT, dominated Friday's Bitcoin flows with $97 million of net inflows, accounting for roughly 72% of the category total.Fidelity's FBTC added another $49.3 million. Bitwise's BITB was the only Bitcoin fund to record a net redemption, losing $11.8 million, while ARKB, BTCO, EZBC, HODL, BTCW, Morgan Stanley's MSBT and both Grayscale products reported zero net flows.Friday's $134.5 million Bitcoin total was down roughly 29% from Thursday's $190.7 million and continued a steady deceleration from $999 million on Monday, $714.7 million Tuesday and $346.9 million Wednesday.Nevertheless, Bitcoin ETFs accumulated approximately $2.39 billion over the September 21-25 trading week.Ether demand was similarly concentrated. BlackRock's ETHA attracted $50.4 million, while the firm's newer ETHB product added $31.9 million. Fidelity's FETH contributed another $4.7 million. All other tracked Ether products were flat, leaving the category with $87 million of net inflows. Ether ETFs consequently finished the five-session week with approximately $689.8 million of net additions.

      Solana Records Its Strongest Session

Solana delivered Friday's clearest acceleration. Bitwise's BSOL attracted $55.7 million, the largest contribution among Solana products. Grayscale's GSOL followed with $18.5 million, while Morgan Stanley's MSOL added $6 million. VanEck's VSOL recorded $3.3 million and Fidelity's FSOL another $3.2 million. No tracked Solana ETF recorded an outflow. The resulting $86.7 million category total was nearly 2.7 times Thursday's $32.8 million and exceeded the previous daily high of $69.5 million in Farside's dataset.Solana ETFs accumulated approximately $188.1 million during the week, compared with $74.9 million across the previous four sessions combined. The distribution of Friday's flows therefore differed markedly from the beginning of the week. Bitcoin remained the largest destination in absolute dollars, but its daily inflows fell almost 87% from Monday's $999 million. At the same time, Ether flows strengthened from Thursday and Solana demand surged to a record.Across the full week, the three categories absorbed roughly $3.26 billion combined: $2.39 billion for Bitcoin, $689.8 million for Ether and $188.1 million for Solana. That broader picture suggests institutional crypto demand remained substantial into the weekend, even as the composition shifted away from the overwhelming Bitcoin concentration that characterized the week's opening sessions.
