Dragonfly Partner Haseeb Qureshi Denies Polymarket CEO Misappropriated Company Funds

PANews reported on October 21 that Dragonfly partner Haseeb Qureshi posted on X, saying that claims about Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan using company funds to pay for private jets and other expenses, which were allegedly discovered by Peter Thiel's Founders Fund, are untrue. Qureshi said Dragonfly is one of Polymarket's largest early investors. He stated that Coplan was not drawing a salary at the time, disclosed all expenses, which amounted to roughly the annual salary of a software engineer, and that none of the flights were for private use. He said the accounting and repayment process was initiated by Coplan himself, the relevant funds have been fully repaid to the company, and Coplan subsequently began drawing a normal salary. Qureshi believes this is an accounting issue, not an integrity issue.
