Filecoin adjusts reward mechanism and launches new products
PANews, October 16 – Filecoin announced that it has advanced three major developments this month, including adjusting its reward mechanism, the end of the token release period, and the launch of new products. The new reward mechanism will allocate more block rewards to services that can bring paying customers to the network, with rewards for consensus mining correspondingly reduced and unearned portions burned; the genesis token release period is about to end, with daily new FIL circulating supply expected to drop by about 75%; in addition, new products for enterprises and AI Agents are being launched, including Integral Spacetime, a new storage cloud based on Filecoin.
