Binance to Suspend Deposits and Withdrawals on October 19 to Support Filecoin (FIL) Network Upgrade and Hard Fork
PANews reported on October 15 that, according to an official Binance announcement, Binance will suspend deposits and withdrawals of Filecoin (FIL) network tokens starting at 11:59 (UTC) on October 19, 2026, to support the network's upgrade and hard fork. The upgrade and hard fork will be executed at block height 6,470,279, with an estimated time of 12:59 (UTC) on October 19. The announcement stated that trading of the above network tokens will not be affected, and all technical aspects will be handled by Binance for users; once the network is stable after the upgrade, deposits and withdrawals will reopen, and no further announcement will be made at that time.
