BingX EU Receives MiCA License from Austria's FMA for EEA Operations

BingX EU, the European division of the global trading platform, has secured a crypto-asset service provider authorization from Austria's Financial Market Authority (FMA). Announced on October 14, 2026, this license allows BingX EU to operate under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), covering services across 29 countries in the European Economic Area (EEA).

The authorization enables BingX EU to provide custody, exchange, and brokerage services, marking a significant step for the company as it transitions into the European market. However, the firm has not yet disclosed a launch date for its services, leaving potential European customers awaiting further information.

BingX, founded in 2018, claims to serve over 40 million users globally. The company chose Austria as its licensing authority, joining other platforms like Bybit and Bitpanda that have also received MiCA authorization from the FMA. This move positions Austria as a growing hub for crypto licensing within the EU, potentially influencing the regulatory landscape for crypto services across the region.
