Bitcoin Experiences Significant Drop and Liquidations
Bitcoin's price briefly fell to 80,230 USD in a rapid decline observed over the last hour. This sharp drop led to a total liquidation of 484 million USD across the cryptocurrency network.
The majority of the liquidations were attributed to long positions, which accounted for 464 million USD of the total. Notably, three individual long positions, each exceeding 10 million USD, were liquidated on the Binance exchange.
Following the initial plunge, Bitcoin's price rebounded, indicating a volatile trading environment as investors reacted to the sudden market movements.
