Injective Welcomes Gulf Labs as Institutional Validator in Thailand
Injective has announced the addition of Gulf Labs, the blockchain and digital-asset investment division of Thailand's GULF Group, as an institutional validator on its network. This partnership, which became effective on October 6, 2026, marks a significant step for Injective as it expands its presence in Asia, particularly beyond its previous collaborations in South Korea.
Gulf Labs has bonded approximately 500,000 INJ tokens to enhance the security and governance of the Injective network. The collaboration aims to explore opportunities in tokenization and stablecoin initiatives, focusing on key sectors in Thailand such as energy, telecommunications, and banking, where GULF Group has a substantial operational footprint.
GULF Group, with a market capitalization of around $27 billion, operates over 24 gigawatts of energy capacity and serves more than 46 million mobile subscribers. The partnership also involves Binance TH, which is regulated by Thailand’s Securities and Exchange Commission, indicating a structured approach to any potential stablecoin initiatives that may arise from this collaboration. As of mid-October 2026, Injective has successfully tokenized over $1 billion in real-world assets, and this new partnership is expected to further enhance its growth in the region.
