      Listed companies' weekly net Bitcoin purchases rise 30.4%, Strategy adds 1,665 BTC in a week

      PANews reported on September 28 that, according to SoSoValue data, as of 8:00 a.m. ET on September 28, 2026, the total weekly net Bitcoin purchases by global listed companies (excluding miners) last week was $239 million, up 30.4% from the previous week. Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) bought 1,665 BTC last week at a price of $85,681, spending about $143 million, bringing its total holdings to 847,666 BTC. Japanese listed company Metaplanet did not buy Bitcoin last week, marking eleven consecutive weeks without purchases.

      In addition, three other companies announced Bitcoin purchases or holdings last week. French Bitcoin company Capital B announced on September 28 that it bought 13 BTC at a price of $85,693.40, bringing its total holdings to 3,538 BTC; asset management company Strive announced on September 28 that it spent about $94.53 million last week to buy 1,107 BTC at a price of $85,396, bringing its total holdings to about 27,462 BTC.

      As of press time, the global listed companies (excluding miners) included in the statistics held a total of 1,159,755 BTC, up 0.32% from the previous week, with a current market value of about $96.74 billion, accounting for 5.7% of Bitcoin's circulating market value.
