Stellar's Tokenized US Treasury Bills Surge by $96.2 Million in One Week

The market capitalization of tokenized US Treasury bills on the Stellar network increased by $96.2 million over the past week, reflecting a significant influx of Treasury assets. This growth is part of a broader trend, as the network has seen a steady accumulation of real-world assets, now totaling approximately $3.47 billion as of early October 2026.

A report from the RWA Foundation and Token Terminal indicated that tokenized T-bills on Stellar contributed $81.2 million to their market cap during the week ending October 5, 2026. Overall, the total tokenized funds on the network rose by $90.9 million, with Treasury assets being the primary driver of this increase. In comparison, Ethereum's tokenized T-bills experienced a growth of $93.2 million in the same timeframe, maintaining its lead in total Treasury token volumes.

The rise in tokenized T-bills is attributed to major contributions from financial institutions, with J.P. Morgan reportedly adding $81.4 million and Franklin Templeton contributing $72.6 million. Since early 2025, the market cap for these assets on Stellar has surged from an estimated $500 million to over $3 billion by June 2026, highlighting the growing importance of tokenization in financial markets.
