Survey Reveals Growing Interest in Cryptocurrency Among Wealthy Investors in Europe and the U.S.

A recent survey conducted by digital asset management company CoinShares indicates a significant trend among wealthy investors in Europe and the United States towards cryptocurrency investments. The survey, which included responses from 2,230 affluent individuals across the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and Switzerland, found that the percentage of investors holding digital assets ranges from 54% to 70%. Notably, the holding rates in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany are nearing 70%.

The survey also highlights a strong inclination among current cryptocurrency holders to increase their investments by 2026. CoinShares reported that at least 85% of existing investors across five markets plan to expand their cryptocurrency holdings. This figure is particularly high in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany, where 91% of respondents expressed intentions to increase their exposure. In contrast, the willingness to invest more is slightly lower in Switzerland and Sweden, with 78% and 71% of respondents, respectively, indicating plans to boost their holdings.

These findings reflect a growing confidence in the cryptocurrency market among high-net-worth individuals, suggesting that digital assets are becoming an increasingly integral part of investment portfolios in these regions. As the landscape of cryptocurrency continues to evolve, the interest from wealthy investors may play a crucial role in shaping market dynamics in the coming years.
